New Home for Painted Rocks
Friday, April 23, 2021 at 7:56PM While the leave-no-trace policy on nature reserves has necessitated the removal of painted rocks from the trail through Fairyslipper Forest Nature Reserve, the Thetis Island Nature Conservancy has contacted the Thetis Island Parents Association and the Thetis Island Community Association and have agreement to place the painted rocks in the wooded area between the school and the community hall.
This little forest near the slide and swings is often used as a play area so the colourful rocks will be appreciated.
