Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 8:52PM Does anyone have a Chinois they are willing to sell?
A chinois is a conical sieve with an extremely fine mesh. It is used to strain custards, purees, soups, and sauces. It often comes with a wire base and a wooden mortar. Your mother likely had one for canning.
