To seek member approval of proposed Bylaw amendments which were recommended by TIRRA Executive under Notice of Motion at the October 6th, 2022, General Member Meeting.
BY SPECIAL RESOLUTION (MOTION):
That the Bylaw Amendments recommended by the TIRRA Executive be adopted:
a. Article IV: DUTIES OF OFFICERS: 3.b) Duties of Secretary [as to member and property owner records]
b. Article VI: GENERAL AND SPECIAL MEETINGS: 4. Personal Notifications, 5. Posting Notices, 12.1 Motions of Ordinary business, 12.2 Motions regarding Parcel Tax, 12.3 Majority thresholds [as to notification and voting methods, written ballots and mail in voting, and thresholds for majority in special resolutions]
c. Article X: AMENDMENTS: [as to process for bylaw amendments]
After the October 6th meeting, a few edits were recommended.
