Plant of the Week #3 - Red-Flowering Currant

If you are seeing splashes of hot pink through the spring foliage, there's a good chance it's Red-Flowering Currant!  Read about this native plant that is not only edible (if you can get past the tartness), but is a favourite among hummingbirds and other pollinators.
