Back to the Future: Time Change for August Parade

The TICA schedule has just posted that SATURDAY, AUGUST 3rd is also the famously fantastic Book & Bake Sale at Forbes Hall from 10 to 1 pm. 

Because of this community opportunity the TIVFD is changing the timing of the Thetis Island PARADE to 1 pm. 

You can bring your “float” entry to Mission Road by the fire hall any time that morning, go over to the Book & Bake Sale and even buy some lunch there. 

Then the parade will kick off at 1 pm sharp. 

This will be a great Saturday to celebrate the BC Day Long Weekend and you can quietly rest on Sunday.
