Thank You: Ukrainian Fundraising Dinner

Thank you, as well, to everyone who has so generously donated to this Ukrainian Fundraising initiative.

Direct to Ukraine:

All donations from this event will go to the treasurer of WRAP (Women Refugees Advocacy Project) in Vancouver; they, in turn, will transfer the funds to their companion organization in Halifax (NGO Persons Against Non-State Torture), and that organization will transfer the funds to the bank account of Maria (Democracy Development Centre of Ukraine), located in Ukraine.

She will ensure the money goes to purchase items for those in need such as: power banks for those without electricity, food, water, essential pharmaceuticals, counselling for women who’ve been raped, diapers for young and old, and toys and books for children living in bomb shelters.
