The People’s Apothecary Garden - Plant of the Week #11 – Calendula
Monday, June 10, 2024 at 7:47AM These cute little rascals are jam-packed with healing goodness and the flower heads can be eaten too, hence why they are commonly known as ‘pot marigold’. Furthermore, its bright orange and yellow flowers can be used in dyes and as colouring agents in beauty products. At the PAG we currently only have a small crop, so please no harvesting, but one day we hope to have a small “field” of this bright and powerful plant.
