Bicycle Caution #2

I would like to second Dave Steen’s recent post. It is basically a plea for caution on the part of cyclists, drivers, and walkers on Thetis roads due to the excessive use of cover gravel.

In addition, I would like to register a query about why the excess gravel deposits (not many but still dangerous) were not swept off the roads soon after tarring was completed, and the tar hardened. Safety seems reason enough for such excess gravel removal. To whom would I send such a query so that it might initiate some action?
