Voices for the Islands
Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 10:21AM Some of you may have heard the CBC North by Northwest and BC Today interviews this past weekend with Lasqueti Islander Sheila Harrington about her new book Voices for the Islands: Thirty Years of Nature Conservation in the Salish Sea. Sheila included an entire chapter about ThINC and our conservation efforts as the youngest conservation organization in the Salish Sea. Sheila will be launching her book at Forbes Community Centre on August 18 at 2 pm. Please put this exciting event on your calendar. Sheila will have books available for sale.
