For Sale: Fainting Goats (from Jollity Farm)

[More Info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fainting_goat]

We are going livestock-free for the next year, while we focus on more market garden and farm shop developments.

Henny, Bozie and Sue are the sweetest little family of goats and are looking for a new home. They are perfect friends for kids who want to learn about animal husbandry, or companion animals for lonely horses or people! They are small and gentle and love getting human attention.

That being said, they are very low maintenance and as long as they have space to forage, they keep themselves busy all day. They do love being groomed and cuddled and enjoy going for foraging walks.

If you have blackberries or other invasive weeds, they do an excellent job of munching them down and keeping areas clear from regrowth. Plus... they compost as they go!

Henny is a registered/papered myotonic goat, and her daughter Sue is also a purebred who can be registered. Henny is just past the age to breed now as she's had many kids already, but Sue is at a prime age for breeding.

Asking price is $400. We can negotiate barters/trades and other creative arrangements for the right home. Finding a good home where they will be responsibly cared for is the main priority.
