Volunteer Call Out: Community Celebration, June 14th

TICA is looking for volunteers to help out with this event. We are trying to keep the time by individual volunteers to as short as possible, so that everyone can enjoy the evening. Most of these volunteer jobs will be assigned for an hour or so.

If you’d like to help out, here are some of the areas we need a bit of help with:
Set Up and Take Down (Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14: chairs, tables, stage, tents, etc.)

Decoration Assembly (simple): one or two people to unfold and secure the many paper flowers and fans on Thursday June 12 or Friday June 13, in preparation for the decorating volunteers to hang.

Decorating: Saturday June 14 morning: making the event areas colourful and exciting, lots of ready-to-go décor, see above.

Children’s Activities: friendship bracelet beading, games etc., 5:00 – 6:30+ pm.

Soft Bar Servers: soft beverages, dessert and concert snacks, 5:00 - 9:00 pm.

Bar Servers: SES/SIR permit holders needed for this one (we can help you get permitted) 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

General Maintenance and Tidying throughout the event (getting trash and recycling into the right places)
