Reminder: 'Snk̛míp Dig Deeper' Community Screening - June 22nd at Forbes Hall

Hello Thetis Islanders,
Just a friendly reminder that you’re warmly invited to join us for a special community screening of 'Snk̛míp Dig Deeper' on Saturday, June 22nd at 7 PM at Forbes Hall.
Hosted by the Thetis Island Nature Conservancy (ThINC) and Community Climate Resilience (CCR), this powerful feature-length documentary explores the restoration of a wetland that uncovered the site of an ancient Sinixt village - and the profound collaboration that followed between Indigenous and settler communities.
Co-directed by Autonomous Sinixt Matriarch Marilyn James and settler conservationist Lorna Visser, the film is a moving reflection on land stewardship, cultural resilience, and reconciliation.
