When will you be there and for how long?
Today, Saturday Aug. 23rd. I’ll be there between 10 AM and 2 PM.
Why?
It’s such a nice spot. Harbour view, sheltered, and has a friendly atmosphere to socialize.
But I have to shop for groceries.
Well, this market has Filipino cooking and baking, lots of choice in desserts, fresh vegetables and fruit, jams and jellies, farm fresh eggs and fresh baked sourdough bread.
I also need a gift for a friend.
They sell native cedar carvings from a Penelakut master carver, Fire sauce, cedar wind spinners, packets of herbs and spices, homemade boxes of chocolate, herb tea and chaga tea. Did I mention jams and jellies, body lotions and the like?
If I spend too much time there, I won’t be able to cook supper.
Rest easy, with all the choices; you can pick up enough variety of meals and desserts to satisfy your hunger. Just heat it up and enjoy!
OK, will see you there!
The sooner the better; things sell out fast. I’ll be chit chatting with the vendors. It’s my happy spot.
