Reminder: Memorial Edition of the Quarterly – Veronica Shelford

With Veronica’s work and contributions throughout the community, along with decades as editor of the Quarterly, we have decided to create a memorial edition of the Quarterly in her memory. This issue will be published in the early fall.

Now that the regular Fall edition of the Quarterly is out, our focus is on this special edition.

We are looking to the Thetis Island community for submissions for the Memorial Issue. Send reminiscences, thanks, stories and memories of Veronica (up to 200 words) to info@forbeshall.ca

Photographs of Veronica through her many years on Thetis are also sought, digital prints 2 MB or higher. If you have a print photograph to share, we will scan and update it as possible, please get in touch.

Digital copies of the Memorial Issue will be made available to all e-Spokes recipients, through www.thetisposts.ca, www.forbeshall.ca, and to TICA members.

In addition, we will be asking, prior to printing, for print copy pre-orders; these copies will be free of charge. More information on these orders will be shared in September.

We thank you in advance for your sharing of memories, this special memorial issue of the Quarterly will be a very “Thetis Island” thanks to our long-serving editor, Veronica Shelford.

Please send in your memories to info@forbeshall.ca by September 20, 2025.

Thank you to those who have already sent in their lovely, heartfelt memories and photos.

With appreciation,
Ann Dickie, Suzanne Sarioglu, Susan Unger, Carol Sowerby and Teresa Moore
