Goosey Gander Shop Open Saturday and Sunday 10 to 4

Do you know what is wooden and hollow, about four feet long, painted in brown and creamy colours and makes a strange low rumbling sound? There’s one in the Shop. It’s a Didgeridoo all the way from Australia.

There’s also a lovely 40-year-old wooden flute from Nepal. And if you have searched and searched on west coast beaches in hopes of finding an old Japanese glass float, you are in luck. A whole box was found hidden in a basement and they are being offered at a very reasonable price. Now is your chance to own one.

A couple brand new items came in too, a Soda Stream and a Magnavox Boom Box.

Last Saturday morning Pat & Tim Mattson won $50 in gift coins for luckily buying the 5000th item sold. Actually they bought number 5001 too.

A big thank you to them, and to all of you who have shopped here over the years.

Nan Beals
