Update: Live Wires, Power Outage and Blocked Roads (3 Downed Lines)

There are three lines down on Thetis Island.

One BC Hydro crew is on island; more crew are on the way to Thetis.

Pilkey Pt Rd is blocked by a VERY large tree & downed lines north of Klahowya.

IT IS DANGEROUS to attempt travel, even by foot or bike, on this route until BC Hydro gives the OK.

Attempts to traverse this area will slow BC Hydro's efforts to clear the tree and restore power.

PLEASE RESPECT BC Hydro's work, and STAY CLEAR from all downed lines.
