Community Mushroom Walk

Join us on Saturday, November 14th at 10:00 AM for a mushroom walk on the Lawrence Valley Loop. Meet in front of the Fire Hall.

The mushrooms haven't quite put on the show they did last year, but there's always more than first meets the eye. Chris Call, our local mushroom expert, will join us to share his knowledge and passion for the fungi growing right here on our island. We'll bring ID books to help us identify what we find along the way. If you have one, please bring it, too!

Whether you're a seasoned forager or simply curious, come geek out about mushrooms with your fellow islanders. All are welcome.
