Island Sidekick Available!

Because everyone needs a sidekick sometimes.

Hello Thetis neighbours,

I run my online business from home, which I love, but if I’m not careful I may eventually turn into a full-time hermit who only talks to my laptop and the occasional seagull. So I thought it would be much more enjoyable to spend one or two days a week helping out around the island and connecting with more of you.

You may have seen me baking or making coffee at the café, or teaching Yoga and meditation at Forbes Hall. Earlier in my career I worked as a household manager in Point Grey, helping busy households stay organized and running smoothly.

If you could use an extra pair of capable hands, I’d love to help. I’m fast, efficient, reliable, and great at tackling those tasks that have been lingering on the to do list.

Things I can help with:

• Home organizing (cupboards, closets, spaces)
• Meal prep, cooking, or baking
• Business admin or online support
• Errands and practical household tasks
• Laundry and light household help
• Elder support or friendly company
• Pet care (including horses)
• General “could you help me with this?” tasks

Think of it as having a reliable island sidekick for a few hours to help make life a little easier.

• $30/hour
• Thursday + Friday Availability
• 2 hour minimum
• Cash, e transfer, or credit card (processing fee)
• Responsible, dependable, and I have my own vehicle
