Get Involved: European Green Crab Monitoring Program Starts This April!

Our European Green Crab Monitoring Program is kicking off soon, running from April to September, and we’re inviting community members of all ages - perfect for youth - to join in and earn one of our ThINC learning badges.

The European Green Crab Monitoring Steward badge recognizes volunteers who actively contribute to invasive species monitoring. Badge earners gain practical field skills, learn to collect accurate data, and help protect our native coastal ecosystems. For more information about the badge, please visit our website:
https://www.thetisislandnatureconservancy.org/learning-badges

If you’re keen to get involved or have any questions about the program, please get in touch at charlotte@thetisislandnatureconservancy.org.
