Only two weeks to go until the Community Yard Sale at Forbes Hall!

Buyers

Absolutely no early birds – there’s a ton of stuff to get ready and please be patient until the proverbial gate is opened! 

Remember to bring your pockets full! Not only for weird and wonderful treasures, but for lunch, beverages and snacks.

Food Pricing: $12, $5, $2 and $1. We have a great lunch BBQ menu on offer!

Vendors

Set Up

There are more than a dozen vendors selling so far, and we’re still two weeks out. The more the merrier and the bigger the draw! We’ll be finalizing the set-up plan closer to the event, mostly due to weather. If it’s a sunny day, set up will be in the sports court and pavilion, with some tables under cover and inside. There will be designated parking for those selling from their vehicles. All vendors will be contacted a couple of days prior to the event. For now, we’re planning to get some tables and set out on Friday afternoon. Vendors will be encouraged to set up Friday and early Saturday. We will lock off the Sports Court Friday night (if we’re going with a sunny day plan). This will allow for vendors to set their wares up and tarp them for the night if desired.

A couple of reminders: bring a float! Cash is the usual payment at yard sales. If you’re okay with accepting e-transfers, make little slips of paper with your email address on them to hand out.

Reminder: to book your space, please contact info@forbeshall.ca with your name, texting phone number or email, how you’ll be selling (car, table, tent) and where you would prefer to set up, we’ll try our best to accommodate.
