Community Yard Sale & BBQ at Forbes Hall: Countdown!

Buyers
No early birds!
– there’s a ton of stuff to get ready and please be patient until the proverbial gate is opened!
Remember to bring your pockets full for weird and wonderful treasures!
Food Pricing: $12, $5, $2 and $1. There’s great BBQ lunch menu, as well as baked treats and beverages!
Very limited parking on-site, with priority given to vendors, volunteers, young families and those with mobility issues. Lots of off-site parking on Mission Road and at the school.
Vendors
Set Up
There are more than a dozen vendors planning to sell, so far. We’ll be finalizing the set-up plan later this coming week, but currently it looks like it will be a sunny weekend. If the forecast holds true, set up will be in the sports court and pavilion, with some tables under cover and inside. There will be designated parking for those selling from their vehicles.
All vendors will be contacted a couple of days prior to the event. Set up will be on Friday afternoon. Vendors will be encouraged to set up Friday and, if needed, early Saturday. We will lock off the Sports Court Friday night (if we’re going with a sunny day plan). This will allow for vendors to set their wares up and tarp them for the night if desired.
A couple of reminders: bring a float! Cash is the usual payment at yard sales. If you’re okay with accepting e-transfers, make little slips of paper with your email address on them to hand out.
What will it cost to sell at the Community Yard Sale?
To sell at the yard sale a simple cash donation to TICA is requested, supporting Forbes Hall. A donation box will be provided.
Have you booked your space?
No worries about signing up this coming week, we’ll fit you in, just need to know by noon Friday, April 24th.
Reminder: to book your space, please contact info@forbeshall.ca with your name, texting phone number or email, how you’ll be selling (car, table, tent).
