Following the April 1^st Ferry Cancellations, please note that:

Chemainus - Penelakut Island - Thetis Island

Due to a mechanical issue caused by a large tire in the ocean becoming lodged around the vessel’s propeller, additional sailings have been cancelled on our Chemainus - Telegraph Harbour (Penelakut Island) - Preedy Harbour (Thetis Island) route for tomorrow, Thursday, April 2.

Out of an abundance of caution, our engineering teams will replace the affected thruster. The replacement unit is expected to arrive Thursday morning. Should additional time be required to complete repairs, evening sailings may also be impacted.

Three 12-passenger water taxis are operating on the posted schedule. Access to the water taxi pick-up and drop-off locations:

Thetis Island: Community Public Dock
Penelakut Island: Island Dock off Hook Road
Chemainus: Municipal Wharf
