Community

I’ve been thinking about something.

Many of us chose to live here because of the people. The sense of community. The friendly faces. The helpers, caregivers, artists, tradespeople, companions, volunteers, and service providers who make this place feel like paradise.

But there’s a growing challenge.

The people who support this community are increasingly unable to afford living in it.

As our population ages, the need for trustworthy, caring, community-minded people will only increase. Yet many of those willing to step into those roles are being priced out before they ever have a chance to contribute.

This isn’t a complaint. It’s a question.

What would it look like if this community became known not only for its beauty and success, but also for its ability to attract and support the next generation of helpers, caregivers, creators, and community builders?

Could there be innovative housing solutions?

Mentorship opportunities?

Community-supported living arrangements?

Partnerships between homeowners, local businesses, and people who genuinely want to serve?

I am new and I don’t know?…maybe there are already solutions.?

But if not, I suspect there are people in this community with the vision, resources, and creativity to see possibilities where others see obstacles.

What ideas do you have?

Because if we can solve this challenge, everyone benefits.
