PAG Open for Visits During Daylight Hours

Hello everyone,

We’re delighted to share that the People’s Apothecary Garden (PAG), located at 62 North Cove Road, is now open for visits.

With thanks to Carolyn Askew for hosting the space, the garden now features over 60 medicinal plant species. May is an especially beautiful time to visit, as many of these plants come into full bloom.

As a ThINC demonstration garden, the PAG hosts seasonal workshops while also offering seasonal workshops and welcoming space for quiet exploration. A site map and plant information cards will soon be available at the entrance to guide your visit.

Before visiting, please note:
Staff may not be on site
Hazards may be present
Entry is at your own risk

Garden guidelines:
Stay on designated paths
Do not harvest or ingest plants
Supervise children at all times
Visit during daylight hours only

Please close the gate behind you.

Designated harvest hours will be offered when staff are present (times to be announced).

To learn more, contact Charlotte at charlotte@thetisislandnatureconservancy.org or visit our website: https://www.thetisislandnatureconservancy.org/people-s-apothecary-garden

We hope you enjoy the garden and thank you for helping keep it safe and welcoming for all.

Best,
Charlotte
ThINC Education and Stewardship Coordinator
