CVRD Introduces Water Rebates for all Residents
Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 7:28AM Eligible property owners can now apply for the following rebates:
• Receive 50%, up to a maximum of $50 towards the purchase of a new rain barrel
• Receive 50%, up to a maximum of $1000 towards the purchase of a new cistern
• Receive 50%, up to a maximum of $450 towards the purchase of smart irrigation technology including: smart irrigation controller, rain sensor, and micro-drip systems
• Receive 50%, up to a maximum of $300 towards the purchase of top-quality soil, compost, or other organic mulch

Rebate funding is limited and rebates will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
The CVRD will be accepting applications until November 30, 2026.
