Pop-up Dinner with Chemainus Banh Mi at Jollity Café, Saturday, August 15

Join Tran from Banh Mi and Jollity Farm for a unique dining event this Saturday, August 15th in Chemainus. We are collaborating to create an intimate and casual, family-style tasting meal.

There will be about 7-8 items that highlight the bounty of the island, blending farm ingredients with Asian flavours. Tasting menus can be expensive, so we decided to make this experience a "pay-what-you-can" event to be accessible for everyone. (suggested contribution is $50/person or what is comfortable for you).

There will be two seatings at 5pm or 7pm, limited to 10 people each.

We also have a special line up of non-alch. naturally fermented wines and non-wines that will also be available for an additional cost. Our friends from Softer Soda have put together a really interesting selection to pair with the menu.

The menu (subject to some small changes):

Jackfruit salsa / Summer rolls (vegan available) / Wontons in chili oil / Lettuce wraps (vegan available) / Bo Kho (Vietnamese beef stew) / Fried Udon (vegan available) / Coconut cream custard bars with wild berries

You can reserve your seats by emailing: hello@jollityfarmshop.ca or call/text Elisabeth at 250.415.0101.

With thanks from us all!
