EXTREME Fire Danger Class

According to BC Wildfire, we transitioned to the EXTREME Fire Danger Class on Friday. The three-day grace period for the HIGH rating is ending, meaning early shift activities will conclude on Sunday.

Starting Monday, high-hazard activities (such as mowing, trenching, and chipping) are prohibited until further notice. Electric chainsaws and plastic string or battery-powered weedwhackers are still permitted.

Please note that all fires are strictly prohibited. Propane campfire appliances are allowed. Additionally, please be very careful not to park vehicles with catalytic converters over dry grass.

Report all smoke columns immediately to 911 or *5555.
