A Huge Thank You + The Pilkey Point Mystery Continues…

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out after my post about the theft on Pilkey Point Road. We were touched by the response. A few people even called to offer to replace all of the firewood, which was incredibly generous and such a beautiful reminder of what an amazing community we have here.

We don’t need the firewood replaced, but we would really appreciate having the electrical cable returned, no questions asked. It can simply be tossed back onto the property. It is approximately 80 feet long and has yellow paint on both ends. It may only be worth around $15–$20 if sold, but it will cost us a few hundred dollars to replace.

We later realized that a pinkish coloured bathtub was also taken from the property… if you have seen a pink bathtub pop up somewhere recently please let us know.

We’re hopeful this was an isolated incident. We don’t want to feel that we need to lock everything up or install security cameras, and we would much rather begin this new chapter feeling the trust and sense of community that so many of you have already shown us.
