License Plate Saga

Lost: license plate

Somewhere between the boat launch and lot 44, Alberta trailer license plate #4ZU604.

If found, please contact Donovan @ 246 4695

Lost licence plate stolen

I've concluded my plate was stolen, not lost. The corner where it was firmly attached still has a bit of plate attached. Will the perpetrator please return it by leaving it at my lot # signpost. Replacing it in Alberta is problematic and costly and I NEED that trailer to get to my camp.

Dryer Weather

A good friend who is very Safety conscious just pulled out the household dryer to MAKE some repairs before the rains come and clothesline drying becomes problematic.  She was shocked to discover how much lint had accumulated in and around the dryer, even though she empties the lint trap regularly.  She thought it would be timely to remind those with clothes dryers to make sure to clean out the very flammable lint from in and around your unit and check your wiring for wear.

There are about 16,800 clothes-dryer fires in residential buildings annually in the United States, according to the U.S. Fire Administration. These preventable fires caused 15 deaths, 300 injuries and about $88 million US in property damage. (There are no comparable statistics available for Canada.)
