Bake Sale for Syrian Refugees ~ Christmas Bazaar

Genny Redman will be at the Thetis Island Refugee Group table to sell baking, jams, jellies and such at the Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec 5th.

Proceeds from the sale will go to the sponsorship of the Syrian refugee family - the Kaiyalis. If anyone would like to donate similar items for the sale, Genny has offered to also sell them.

Christmas Bazaar ~ this Saturday

All you Thetis Islanders, this is the weekend for the "Christmas Bazaar" come join us for fun, food, and lots of great gift ideas on Saturday 4th December at "Forbes Hall" 10AM until 4PM.

There is also a drop-off box for food donations for Harvest House, all contributions greatly appreciated

Robbie Burns Supper Tickets for Sale ~ Christmas Bazaar

 Robbie Burns Supper tickets will be for sale at the Christmas Bazaar this Saturday! 

We are pleased to let you know that TIMA is sponsoring another faboulous Robbie Burns Supper on January 30th 2016 at 5:30PM. The traditional meal is lovingly prepared by the very capable crew consisting of Don, Rick and Nancy Sinclair and Nettie Hayter.  To add to the delicious meal the event includes a variety of entertainment such as the very skilled Highland dancer Elaine Vallis, speeches, a bag pipe player, limerick contest, Scottish Country dancing and maybe a surprise skit or two.

There will also be opportunity to purchase wine, beer and whiskey to complement your meal. It takes place at  the Thetis Island Community Centre and is bound to be a sold out event. If you would like to sit with a group of friends let us know and we will do our best to reserve a table (or part of it)  for your group. Food sensitivity friendly meals can be requested only when buying your tickets. Tickets are $ 30.00 per person and are on sale until 23rd January .
