Missing Tote

Someone inadvertently took a clear plastic tote labelled Globe Subscribers from the recycling yard. It's needed and I'd be pleased if it was returned...no questions asked.
Thanks

Several of us have organized a fishing trip to the Swiftsure Banks off Port Renfrew for Tuesday Sept 17 & 18th. 3 places have opened up.
The group of 9 (6 right now), all from Thetis, is leaving Tues on the 10:35 ferry for Port Renfrew. We are traveling in the Lamb's 12 passenger van. We have reservations at the West Coast Trail Motel for that night. Fishing is in 2-26 foot alum boats with cabins and heads, 4 to a boat. We will go for the day and fish for both salmon and halibut. The group returns home to Thetis Wednesday night.
Cost is about $400 double occupancy with a full group. Call Virginia and Andy Lamb for more information 250-246-9770.
The Pizza Lady is back from the wilds of Alaska. Cedar Beach Pizza is open most days. We try to be flexible so do call ahead (min of 2 hours please).
We make our crusts from scratch. This is not a volume business so for "must have" orders please consider not being disappointed and order a few days ahead.
We do make Gluten Free and Dairy free pizzas. Goggle cedar beach pizza or access us via the Thetis Island website.

With the great weather and several more boating rendezvous, the vendors at The Summer market will continue to deliver through Sunday September 29th ! Neighbourly hospitality synonymous with the olden days!
A big thank you to Ron Bannister for stabilizing the worktable in the kitchen at Forbes Hall. It does everything we hoped that it would!
The family has requested that contributions be made to the Thetis Island Seniors' Committee. What a lovely gesture! Cheques can be made out to TICA, with a notation on the bottom that they are in memory of Barbara, who is one of the Founders of the Seniors' Dinner Events, a successful monthly social time from Sept to April. Monies will be held to be used for projects that the Committee is working on, benefiting seniors and all other community members. If you are not attending the Memorial Tea, send donations to TICA Box 14-0. Tax receipts issued.
The Memorial Tea for Barbara will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 14th at Forbes Hall.
