May 10th video recording needed!

Can you hold a camera or iphone steady and record a 4 minute video? Are you available on the evening of May 10th? Would you volunteer your expertise for a good cause?

If you answered "yes" to all these questions, we have the perfect job for you!

On May 10th at Thetis Island Marina & Pub, some of our local belly dance group will be performing a special Shimmy Mob dance as a fundraising for a local womens shelter and in celebration of International Belly Dance Day. This is a registered international event and we are required to video tape our performance to send in to the head Shimmy Mob organization for posting to their website. We need to find someone capable of filming a good quality video tape. We will make it as easy as possible by providing and setting up a camera and tripod but it does require someone who has some amateur videotaping experience because it can't be sideways, out of focus, headless or make anyone seasick to watch (you get the idea).

Please contact Kelly Bannister ASAP if you can help. Thank you!
