BC Organ Donor Registration
Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:23AM The registration is so simple now, and if this is something you've been putting off, perhaps give it some consideration. Once you start the process, the form will ask specifics regarding your desires. Once you've registered on the Organ Donor Registry, health care professionals in each BC hospital can access your registration through a secure database by entering your BC CareCard number.
Upper Body Workouts Resume

Come and watch or join us for a 45 min workout using free weights and bands.
Workout also includes some cardio and ab work.
This is a low impact workout so is for any age.

Found Tabby Cat needs to find new home before January 5th.

A few days before Christmas a beautiful brown and black tabby cat arrived on our doorstep. We have attempted to find the owner, but to no avail. The cat is loving and people friendly; loves to be out in the day and in at night. Problem is... we are unable to adopt another feline. Bigger problem... I am leaving the island on Saturday, January 5, 2013. I must find a home for this little creature.
A loving home is needed for my little friend

Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 4:13PM We've extended the reservation cut-off 'til noon Friday Jan 4th.
If 18 people have reserved space by that point, we'll go ahead with the supper.
We're thinking perhaps folks' have had enough holiday cheer, as only 10 people have signed up so far, many less than our fall dinners of 3 or 4 dozen!
To make this a worthwhile event, we really need at least 18.

Another Magickal Winter Solstice Celebration!
Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:19AM Thank you to all who attended, and thank you for bringing such a scrumptious feast. Special thanks to Don & Gwen Hunter for once again donating a turkey so yummy) and to Jan & Dan Murphy for donating a glazed ham. We certainly had an abundance of food this year!
Thank you Kelly Bannister for being such a beautiful Winter Fairy Queen and to all her elfin court. And special thanks to our songstress, bards and troubadours: Zandra Burns, Johnny Hannah, Dale Burkholder, Wayne & Maureen Loiselle and Corona Gordie for heart-stirring, toe tapping and "just gotta dance" entertainment.
We are so lucky!
Also many thanks for the generous donations to the Harvest House Christmas Hamper and to our Solstice Fund jar.
One little follow-up note - a few stainless steel utensils have wandered off – specifically one long handled ladle, one long handled slotted spoon, and one short handled serving spoon. If anyone discovers them at home please give Stephanie a call (5269).
