Antique Windsor style wooden chair
Not only a very comfortable place to sit but it exudes Cottage core charm through its cream colouring, eye catching red pinstripe cushions, and unique elements such as the spindles and curved sides. The wide stance and slightly reclined back make this chair very comfortable and inviting. Would be a wonderful addition for a front entryway, study, or sitting room. Incredibly sturdy and measuring 30” wide, 23” deep, and 35” tall. Asking $250.
Vintage brass napkin rings
15 pieces. 3 different styles but go together exquisitely. Selling altogether and including a wooden box holder. These brass napkin rings would elevate any table setting. Asking $20.
Four Glass Carboys
Solid glass, beautiful decor. Have used mine for eye catching centre pieces at large events or to display dried pampas grass. Two Carboys are 20” tall, one is smooth glass while other has some raised detailing. Two Carboys are slightly shorter at 17” tall and both have raised detailing. Beautiful additions for a backyard, patio, or in the home.
Asking $25/each for the large Carboys and $20/each for the smaller pieces.

Possible Victoria Pick-up?
We have a small but important package destined for our Chemainus farm shop that we need this Monday or Tuesday.
If anyone happens to be coming from Victoria, or traveling there and back, we'd be so grateful if you were able to assist.
Thanks from Jollity Farmers

The TIVFD and the TIVFD Auxiliaries plus 5 members of the BCWS Cobble Hill Fire Base and their fire truck as well as 2 BCWS SP Specialists (for a total of 38 responders) participated in the annual Wildfire Scenario Drill off of North Cove Road on Saturday.
Thank you to all (and there were many) motorists who slowed down and obeyed the Traffic Control person at the Water Tender fill station by Hunters’ Pond.
We all owe our TIVFD Auxiliary members a great deal of appreciation for training with your volunteer fire fighters for the protection and safety of the community during a wildfire event.
Thanks also to the Hunter family for allowing us to train on their property and to Doug Darling and Teresa Moore for allowing the Structural Protection Unit members to “save” their home. The fact that they had Fire Smarted their house and property beforehand made that possible.
If you need assistance in readying your home and property for a possible wildfire event, please call Stu Downey at 246-3311. Step by step you can lower your risk through Fire Smart.

The July 1st Sail Past is on again and fast approaching! Decorate your boats with some Canadian spirit and come enjoy an afternoon on the water sailing/cruising around Penelakut and Thetis.
2pm: Depart from Thetis Island Marina/Telegraph Harbour area
1st Pitstop: Tent Island
2nd Pitstop: Penelakut Spit
Cruise continues up the east side of Thetis, around North Cove and down the west side.
All ages and boats welcome. Let’s keep this fun island tradition alive and celebrate this fine country we call home! The Sail Past will take place rain or shine.
For the record… I am aware of the multitude of lovely boats on this island, so let’s see them! If my old boat managed the voyage last year sputtering along on one cylinder, a solenoid sticking and a leg running on sea water… surely yours can handle the trip!
Any questions/info - please contact Tricia Hunter (contact info in the Thetis phonebook)
Looking forward to seeing many decorated boats and island neighbours at sea on Canada Day!
Tricia Hunter
