Soup’s On is entirely carried out by volunteers and, as one of the tasks is the program’s accounting, please do not pay with coins smaller than loonies and toonies. All change must be counted and rolled, and it’s work that we would like to do less of J

For those who find large groups challenging, enjoy your lunch in our designated quiet room, the Boardroom.

Everyone is welcome to join us, seniors, seniors who don’t think they’re seniors, workers, families, and everyone who just wants a mid-day meal!

PAG Garden Day - Sunday, October 19

As the season winds down, we’ve bid farewell to the final Seaquarium visitors and closed up the Sea Life Centre. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success!

We’re now turning our attention to winterizing the People’s Apothecary Garden (PAG on Lot 62), with some final weeding, pruning, and mulching to get it ready for the colder months.

Join us at the PAG this Sunday, October 19th, from 9:30 - 11:30 AM!
Come by to stroll through the garden, collect seeds, or just say hello. And if you feel like lending a hand, we’d be happy for the help!

A partial closure (single lane alternating traffic) is in place from October 16 to October 24.

Bike Left at Forbes Hall

A purple Diamondback Moonraker mountain bike has been locked up at the Forbes Hall sports court for over a week now. 

If anyone knows the bike’s owner, please contact them directly, or message me at 204-620-7557 and I’ll track them down.
