Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 3:59PM The TIVFD is very pleased to announce that we have taken ownership of a brand-new Wildfire Skid. It will be deployed on the 1995 4x4 Command Vehicle pick up. The unit was donated to us from Global Medic, an international company aligned with Global Fire. This generous gift to assist with wildfire suppression on Thetis Island would normally cost over $16,000 US and we are looking forward to training with it.
