Vitals Monitoring Clinic – Wednesday, December 13th at Forbes Hall

Every second Wednesday, Community Paramedic, Vinh Pham, holds a Vitals Monitoring Clinic at Forbes Hall in the Care Station, coinciding with Soup’s On.  

Stop by the Care Station this Wednesday to have your vital signs checked or to speak with Vinh.

Join us for a fun Soup’s On, December 13th (last one of 2023).

Wear that weird, ugly, strange Christmas sweater that you pull out once a year. Don’t have one? Use glue to stick fun Christmas items all over a sweater you no longer wear.

If you don’t have one, simply do not want to wear one, or whatever, come enjoy a bowl of soup while laughing with your neighbours at the weird things people will wear!

Capernwray: Oh! What a Night…

Kudos to Capernwray staff and students for putting on such a fabulous evening. Transforming the grounds into such a visual delight, organizing & creating entertainment, food and beverages, it all combined to kick off our holiday season with a bang. Truly appreciated by everyone who attended, I’m sure. 

The festive season has definitely begun, thank you all.

Knitting Craft Bee

Morning all you Knitters and crafters, this Friday the 15th of Dec will be the last knitting Bee until after the festive season. We will resume on Friday the 5th of January.

Food Drive: Last Day before Christmas

Today, Wednesday up until 6 pm is the last day the firehall is accepting donations for our local food bank before Christmas.

Non-perishable, non-expired groceries, warm socks and toques, toiletries, gift wrapping and unwrapped toys as well as pet food donations are much appreciated.

-Old steel rusty combination square with extra ruler.
-Old steel framing square made in Canada.
-Two 15 amp digital wall-switch-style 7 day timers; one still in original package with instructions.
