Thetis Island Community Fund: Family Fun Day

Saturday August 17th, 10:30 to 2:00, Forbes Hall

We are looking for a few "Fresh and Rested" crew members to help return Forbes Hall and grounds to pristine condition after 2PM. The tired food and activities volunteers will need some support and your assistance would be appreciated. The People’s Apothecary Garden - Plant of the Week #20 - Raspberry Leaf

Raspberries - the queen of fruits! A summer favourite, these delicate “berries” are actually aggregates (strangely enough, bananas, pumpkins, avocados and cucumbers are true berries). The fruits can be used to make syrup, added into desserts, or eaten fresh off the plant. The leaves also are edible and can be used to make tea, packed with vitamins and minerals.

It's True Grain bakery pick up this week. Bakery and local dairy orders due by Monday evening (up to 8pm).

Our order form is up to date although some things change a bit at a harvest time, depending on ripeness and quantity.
