Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 7:33AM Thetis Island Merchandise will be available for sale at Soup’s On this Wednesday.
There are ball caps, fleece blankets and short sleeve t-shirts in a variety of colors and sizes.
As well, there are long sleeve black t-shirts complete with an image of Maynard Johnny Jr.'s art installation which is featured on the exterior of Forbes Hall Community Centre.
If not for you, these make excellent gifts for friends and family.
Proceeds benefit TICA’s Back into the Black Debt Reduction Program.

Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 7:32AM Thetis Island Elementary School has been steadily growing these past few years. We would like to get the message out to parents in the community that if you would like your children to attend school on Thetis in September, please register now.
You can do this by stopping by the school during school hours to pick up papers, or by going to Chemainus Elementary School in Chemainus.
Please help spread the message to any prospective families in the community. If you wait too long, there may not be room available.

Want to learn how you can protect and enhance biodiversity on your property?
Bring a picnic lunch and come out to our Nature Stewards Community Information Session on Saturday, April 22 (Earth Day) at Forbes Hall from 10 am - 2 pm.
The morning information session will be followed by the picnic lunch (tea and cookies provided by ThINC) and a special medicinal plant walk with Penelakut Elder Augie Sylvester.
We hope to see you there to mark this day for the Earth.

My wife and I are posting to find out if anyone is renting their home on Thetis Island. We are dreaming about what it might be like to spend 1-2 years living on Thetis and sending our 3 children (ages 8, 7, & 6) to the one room schoolhouse. We were both students at Capernwray and loved the culture and beauty on Thetis. We are seeking a 3-4 bedroom, close to the ferry. Possible move-in would be late July / early August.
