Capernwray - Men’s Conference Weekend - August 12-14, 2022

We invite all Thetis Island men (16+) to attend our Men’s Conference Weekend teaching sessions for FREE.

Charles Price, is our Guest Speaker and will be teaching a series called “Temptation: A Positive Force in Life”.  It is a series based on the ‘temptations of Jesus’, we will see how the very thing Satan would destroy Jesus with, God used to build Him! The ‘temptations’ from Satan were designed to weaken Him, but the same things were ‘testings’ from God designed to strengthen Him. It was after these temptations that Jesus returned from the wilderness “in the power of the Spirit”.
We will see how some of our’ biggest battles’ can be our ‘best friends’.

Session Schedule:
Fri. Aug. 12 at 7:30pm
Sat. Aug. 13 at 9:00am & 7:00pm
Sun. Aug. 14 at 9am

If this interests you please contact Miriam, our Conference Registrar at conferences@capernwray.ca

If you’d like to join us for the gourmet meals, recreational activities and more you’re more than welcome to but would need to register as a guest via our website at https://capernwray.ca/conference/mens-conference-2022/

If you have any questions please let us know.

Composting Separret Toilet

Dear Thetis Islanders,

Last night Jan and I participated at the meeting organized by ThINC.  I would be more than willing to welcome at my place those who want to switch to a Separret composting toilet or just are curious about it and show them all the tricks there are in order to have fun with it and no smell.

Not to flush and use diversion has many benefits both to nature and to the human soul.
