The Cat Came Back

Misha, the cat is back.

We were thrilled to be called to a neighbor's house to retrieve our cat, who had been found wandering in their yard. Our thanks to all who had been keeping an eye out for him, much appreciated.

Thetis Island Elementary Needs Volunteers to Listen

Thetis Island Elementary is looking for volunteers from the community to visit our school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:45 to 1:15 to read with our youngest students. We love the opportunity to show off our reading skills and have books read to us! 

We're looking to start this in early October.

Looking to Borrow an Upholstery Stapler

Reinstalling the felt on a pool table and hoping someone has an upholstery stapler I can borrow, especially for inside the hole pockets.

The ideal fastener for the job is apparently an upholstery staple, 20 or 22 gauge wire thickness, 1/4” or 3/8” length.

Would only need it for a day or two.
