Breakfast Hours Adjustment

My apologies everyone. Breakfast will be from 9 to 11 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday there will be no breakfast. My mistake. Just regular hours on those days until we pick up and I will adjust accordingly.

Monday, March 2 we are starting our set specials menu and just a hint, we will be having fish and chips night, wings night, baby back ribs night, and a Eggs Benny of the day on Sundays. I will post the schedule for that in the next couple of days. Kind regards.

New Breakfast Hours at Thetis Island Marina Restaurant

Hello everybody. It's so nice to finally greet you myself. I've been busy and now have the time to talk with you.

I wanted to let you know that we've changed the breakfast hours here at the restaurant. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday there will be no breakfast. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we will have breakfast from 9am to 11am.

I am in the process of rolling out our new menu in the upcoming weeks, and also decided to have a set specials menu that I will begin starting next week Monday.

I will post the specials menu shortly. Thank you so much. I do a lot of walking around the island taking pictures and will take the time to talk with anyone I meet.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask via email, phone, or if you'd like to stop by the restaurant I'd be glad to talk with you.

Kind regards,

Chef Ricky S

Phone Book Updates

As many of you know, I'm in the midst of preparing the next edition of the Thetis Island Phone Book.  Many of you will have had an email from me already checking whether the information I have for you is current.

If you haven't had an email about it, it's because I haven't got an address for you that works.  So if you haven't heard from me, feel free to email me at veronicashelford@gmail.com or call at 250 246 1509.

Otherwise, I'll be calling you.

Also, I've been alerted to the fact that there is a note in the last phone book inviting people to use the on-line form to update your information.  This is an obsolete script and no longer works, so please just use email or phone.  I have removed the link so you can't get there any more anyway.

And finally, I'll be looking for a terrific, iconic Thetis Island photograph for the cover.  It needs to look good as a fairly tall, thin image, and be very high resolution.  If you have something that you think will work, please send it along.  Pat English's shot on the cover of the last one will be a hard act to follow, but let's have a go...

Thank you!

Veronica

Heartbeat Follow Up

The SOAS team would like to extend their thanks to all who helped to make Heartbeat another successful event; from making posters and decorations, to cooking, serving, cleaning up, donating goods/ services and making purchases . Together, we raised over $3, 600 and are now close to the goal of installing another 100,000 litre water storage tank at an elementary school in rural Tanzania.

If anyone remembered to take pictures of the event, we would be most grateful if you'd share them with us.

Again, a big THANK YOU.
