Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:13AM I’m a ThINC student worker, and am looking for a rental for the duration of the work term. My partner is planning to WWOOF on Thetis and may visit on weekends so I would appreciate a space that allows guests.
Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:12AM I wanted to let everyone in the Thetis Island Community know that Thetis Island Elementary School has won a Golden Star Award of $1500.00. This award is from the British Columbia Retired Teachers Association. It is awarded to a classroom and their teacher, who involve senior citizens. There are six classrooms in the province of BC who get this award every year. So this is quite an honour for our school and community.
We are getting this award because we have amazing community support from our seniors at Thetis Island Elementary School. There will be a presentation with a trophy and certificates on Thetis Island, for our students by members of the British Columbia Retired Teachers Association at a time in the future when we can gather as a group. Our school is also being recognized at our School District 79 board meeting on June 2nd.
Many Thanks to all our seniors who support our small school.
A special thanks to Kelly and Matti Bannister for doing an amazing job of the photo and video portion of the application.

This survey is the first of several activities that will strengthen our pandemic response and our understanding of the impacts of COVID-19 to date (social, economic, mental wellness and community wellness).
I have been advised that very few CVRD Area G residents have filled out the BC Health COVID-19 Survey. Our postal codes are like our finger prints and unique to CVRD Area G Saltair/Gulf Island residents.
