Bush and Wildland Fires ramp up

This Easter weekend many more wildland fires in our region and in BC were started by careless humans.

IT’S DRY!

Thank you Thetis Islanders for adhering to the Provincial restrictions in place banning all outdoor yard waste burning in BC.  If a wildfire threatened your home during the pandemic, where would you go?

Report all smoke sightings to 911.  Maintain your health and fire safety.  We are in this together.
