Needed by Fire Department

The TIVFD needs used door locks, dead bolts, doorknobs, hinges etc. to train for forcible door entry.  If you have door hardware that is taking up space in your junk box we would really appreciate the donation.

There will be a box at the front door of the hall that you can leave them in.  We hope there will be enough used stuff we can wreck during training so that we don’t have to purchase new hardware.

Thanks for your support.

Do You Live in a Cell Hole?

In considering what additional information might be useful for the phone book, it has been suggested we might try mapping where cell service is poor to non-existent on Thetis.  (This might also be useful for negotiating with service providers!)

If you live in a cell hole, would you care to let me know?  If enough people reply, we might have enough information to map it.  Even if it didn't go into the phone book, it would be helpful for the Emergency services to know what to expect.
