26 Weeks to Emergency Preparedness

The " 26 Weeks " segment is a mere two pages of the workbook that is full of valuable information and worth reading all the way through. Copies are also available from your LERN captain.

Week 6 Task: Stock your home with several varieties of canned and non-perishable food and dried fruit. Include a manual can opener. Plan for at least a seven day supply for each family member (see pages 8 & 9 of the guide).

Lawrence Valley Loop Bridge

After investigation it was decided that the bridge has been destroyed beyond repair  The damaged portions have been removed.  The creek is passable, but difficult and it may be some time before a replacement can be effected.

Eucalyptus

I have trimmed my eucalyptus.  The branches are at the lookout bench and la petite bibliotheque at 130 Pilkey Point.   If the branches are gone let me know and I can cut some more.  I think a creative person could make a nice eucalyptus wreath or?
