Get to the Point 2018

The Last Boat of Walkers, heading to Pioneer Pacific's Dock to complete their walk (72 walkers, runners & cyclists used the marine connection to do the round the island walk.

Photo: Tom Milliken

A huge thank-you is given to all who participated, & to all of those who “made it happen”.

It was a great event with so many involved for the dinner, trivia night, and the walk.  T-shirts were on most, proudly being part of a caring, Thetis Island team.

While the final amount this event has raised towards the Forbes Hall Expansion has not yet been determined, one thing is for sure ~ it truly takes a village to raise a hall.

Also, a reminder to all who took photos, please email any you’d like to share to hall@thetisisland.net

Those who gave of their time & skill are the following:

Event Leads

Tatiana Nemchin ~ for keeping us all inspired, and reminding us to look after ourselves, all with grace and humour

Ellen Rush ~ for keeping us focussed, while reminding us to reach for the stars, somehow she’s able to do both
