Burgers, Ballads and Beer
Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:08AM Burgers, Ballads and Beer (a.k.a Nautical Tunes and Tales) is a soirée of music and stories on May 30, sponsored by TIMA (Thetis Island Marine Association), which also brings you the Robbie Burns Banquet. We thought a more summery (and summary) event would be fun, so here it is along with your chance to participate.
If you'd like to share a boat story that's packed with drama and/or humour that can be told in 5 minutes, why not sign up now? Or, if you are musical and would like to treat us to sea shanties or tunes with some reference to boats and oceans, please plan to join us for the evening. It promises to be a lot of fun, especially if the confessional mode dominates and those many navigational mistakes we've all made are polished into five-minute gems.
