Knitting Project

Several of us on Thetis Island belong to the Dogwood Trefoil Guild...adult former Girl Guides and leaders.

We are having a BC Provincial Meeting in mid April. At this annual event we always have projects to help out in the community. This year one of the requests is for six inch knitted squares, using soft baby yarn. These are BONDING SQUARES. They are used in hospitals with premature babies and those ill and in incubators. The bonding squares are held on the parents bodies and then placed with the baby as part of a bonding program.

It would be wonderful if our Thetis Island people with knitting skills could take time to make some of these squares. We can collect them at Soup's On or by other means.

Secretary, Dogwood Trefoil Guild
