Rest & Rehabilitation Team Members Required for the Thetis Island Fire Department Auxiliary

R&R members check for signs of heat-stress and fatigue of Firefighters in our designated Auxiliary Rest Area during an Emergency.   The full fire-fighting suit weighs 75 pounds!  We take blood pressure, pulse & temperature & give our Firefighters a place to recuperate before returning to the Emergency Scene. 

You do not require a First Aid or First Responder Certificate.

We are rarely called-out but indispensable when needed.
